Welcome!

It’s here, it’s finally here! I started working on this site back in August, and I didn’t get very far.
And then Jennette came along. I love Jennette. I fell in love with her Pasta Queen blog about 18 months ago, and her book, Half-Assed kept me company on my flight to New York last month. Her writing style is phenomenal– I love her sense of humor and how I needed to clasp my hand to my mouth to keep from bugging the lady next to me (she was very serious with her piles of paper and clipboard). I highly recommend her if you need any web/blog design creating or tweaking.
Another super-cool thing about this site is the way the comments work. You (or I can!) are able to directly reply to a specific commenter, which is so very neat.
The purpose of this blog is to help promote Totally Together: An Organizational Journal for the Busy Household. I came up with the idea of a daily or weekly planner for moms 7 years ago, when my “baby” was 6 months old. I had lists all over the place—-some pertained to work, some to keeping the apartment in order, some to financial and personal goals. I had a number of personal interests: gardening, crafts, writing, fung shui, fitness, nutrition, education—but it seemed that at the end of the day I never got to do anything I wanted to do because I was too busy working on the stuff I thought I was supposed to be doing.
So I put my lists together. I wanted to create a planner for moms. You can read the whole idea-to-book story on the About Page.
I have a lot of people to thank. I have listed them on the Acknowledgments Page (that’s how you spell that. I checked. It looks weird.) Not only do I have the best family in the history of the universe, many of the women I have met over the years are also writers. Check out their work—-they are fantastic.
Thank you so much for all of your support and love; I truly appreciate every positive thought, email, and comment. It means so much. Thank you.
Coming up soon?
Gluten-free, egg-free, nut-free “girl scout” cookies! I am so excited. The kids and I made 3 kinds so far. Now I really need to Shred.
