Good morning!

I was doing my 2008 flashback yesterday and realized that  2 years ago I was in good enough shape to run a half-marathon.

I’m, um, not even close to being able to do that now.

Since we’re having a last-minute mini-vacation at the moment, I’m going to live it up for the next few days, but come Monday I feel the need to get back into a running routine.

How about you? Did you have exercise goals for 2010? Wouldn’t it be nice to go into the holidays with brand new clothes and a brand new you?

Happy Wednesday!

Speed dust and vacuum today–super quick, just get the main areas of the rooms. No need to obsess.

PROM the front entry way closet and guest bathroom—anywhere where a guest might hang out by his or herself—make sure the area is decluttered and maintained.

Good morning! I left Adam in charge yesterday to do the weekend recovery while I ran a few errands and got a pedicure. It was a lovely day!

It’s August! You’ve only got a few more weeks of summer—make it count. Pack as much fun as you possibly can these last few weeks, even if it means leaving dishes in the sink and laundry unfolded. It’s okay. Let it go, and soak in this time and make lots of memories, and take tons of pictures. There will be plenty of rainy (and snowy!) days to come.
