day 50. the year is going by fast!

If I wasn’t writing this site, I wouldn’t know it was the 50th day of the year. That in and of itself is reason enough to continue on with these daily posts. 
Where did that phrase “in and of itself” come from, anyway? I’ve never typed it and it looks odd to see it in print. huh.

it’s FRIDAY! plan some fun for tonight or the weekend. We’re going out to dinner. I’m pretty excited.

“That in and of itself” I first heard it in the movie Because I Said So with Diane Keaton and Mandy Moore. Mandy Moore says it about burning her soufflés because she has never burned a soufflé before and adds that to the reason why she shouldn’t be with this guy she is dating. I am sure that is not where it originated, but it is where I heard it.
