day 83–big picture check

I posted yesterday on the crockpot blog about my friend Jenny, and provided a link to a post she wrote about her sister’s battle with cancer. I assume that most of the people who check in here, check in at the crockpot site, but just in case maybe the overlap isn’t 100%, here is the link to Jenny’s post.

Today:

Take the time to reflect on your family, and the big picture you’re painting. There’s some famous saying that I could probably google, but since there are tears in my eyes right now, I’m not going to and instead will paraphrase: Whatever you spend the most time doing is where most of your energy flows.

What is it that you spend the most time doing? Is that truly where you want your energy to flow?
