Happy, happy birthday, Steph! You and Heidi share the same day! :-) Wish we could all get together this evening and share a big girls’ drink. ;-)

Keeping a thankful heart for you and other amazing folks who grace my life … xo,
    Shirley

Happy Birthday! Mine was Saturday. It was also my one-year “birthday” since my Celiac diagnosis. Loving life!

Happy Birthday, Stephanie! This is the first day I’ve checked into this blog; I’ve been daily on Year of Slow Cooking and keep referring people to it, particularly when I hear they need to be on a gluten-free diet. My husband and I’ve enjoyed each recipe I’ve tried. Last week it was the rotisserie-style chicken and last night the ham/potatoes/cheese that was submitted when you requested pork recipes. Anyway, my crockpot is getting more use than it has since I got it years ago. I enjoy your humor and words like “plop” and “ick” in your directions, and I appreciate your honesty (and your family’s!)

I like the idea of the 30′ extension cord on the vacuum and the idea of using a rag or towel or dirty clothing item to wipe the bathroom floor daily. The bathroom floor is hands-down my least favorite household task.

Blessings to you on your birthday and on this Thanksgiving Day and thanks for sharing with us!

Awww!!!! Happy Birthday!!! It’s my birthday too!!!!! And how funny, I used your turkey breast in the crockpot recipe today in preparation for tomorrow. I make two turkeys to be sure to have enough for our crowd and cooking them both on the same day is always too stressfull. I thought I would give the crockpot a shot, remove the breast meat from the bones, wrap whole and refrigerate, and then reheat and carve tomorrow if we need it. I hope its as good tomorrow as it was tonight!

Enjoy whats left of your day!!!!
