Happy November! I logged 1615 words today—it didn’t take that long to write, and flowed faster than I thought it would.
What a pleasant surprise.
I’m happy to have gained an extra hour due to Day Light Savings Time. It’s not yet 11am, and the laundry is done, the beds stripped, the crib assembled, the kitchen mopped, and the writing done.
I only actually did the writing part, but I did oversee the other happenings from a very comfortable position at the end of the couch.
I’m pretty sure I’m going to milk this being really pregnant thing for all it’s worth.
Day 1 down, 29 to go. How’s everybody doing? Still in a sugar coma from last night?
related:
National Novel Writing Month. I’m in. I think. Maybe.

I could get used to this havng an extra hour in the day thing, couldn’t you?
Congrats on your NaNo counts – that’s great! I’m at 3,713 so far and hoping to get to 5,000 by end of the day.
oh, Melissa! That’s fantastic! Congratulations—-that’s a great roll.

I started last night just after midnight and wrote my first half of the day’s 1,666 words, and I’m still trying to get motivated to do the rest, but raking leaves all day froze my fingers stiff and I’m exhausted. I’ll get my 1666 in today though!
that’s great, Cathie! For some reason I had 1500 words stuck in my head, but you’re right: it’s 1666 per day to get to 50k.
I hope you warmed up a bit! xoxo steph
Cool! I’m doing it this year for the first time. I’ve always wanted to but I’m generally prepping for a huge Christmas production making November the worst time to try and write a book. But not this year! I’m doing it! Good for you, too!
yay, Heather! good for you—-I’m glad you’re in. xoxo steph
