Happy Friday!
We crammed more into this week than we have in a very. long. time. The kids are absolutely exhausted, but in a good way. I love seeing the sun-kissed cheeks and the skinned knees, and the dirt-caked feet. I love summer!
until about the end of July. ask me what I feel then…
Today:
catch up on anything you’ve been neglecting
PROM your inbox and tidy up your desk/computer area. file the bill and paycheck stubs properly.

Happy Monday! I hope all of the dads in your life had a great day yesterday. We had a fantastic weekend—lots of outdoor and family time. One really good thing about being out of the house for most of the day is that the house stays much cleaner than when we’re all at home!
Today:
PROM the outdoor area—tool shed, gardening area, swim stuff, sand toys, etc.

Okay. I STILL haven’t written anything up about chores, and I hate that. It’s on my to-do list, I promise.
But just like every good to-do list, wants get shoved to another day in order to deal with needs.
I’ve spent the last few days putting out fires via email and then firefighting the sibling squabbles which occur each time I sit down to the computer.
Today:
speed dust, vacuum, and quick mop
super quick: have the kids PROM their dresser drawers (again? yes, again. you’ll be surprised at how often you need to do this!). Set a timer for 10 minutes, make a game out of it. be nice.
I’ve noticed that one thing about parents is that no matter what stage your child is in, the parents who have older children always tell you the next stage is worse. –Dave Berry

Happy Thursday! The Office is in reruns now, right? I can’t remember. I took the day off yesterday from work, and spent the entire day on the floor with the baby. We watched 4 hours of Keeping Up With the Kardashians. Now I’m all caught up!
I should really get some work done today.
Today:
clean off the tops of all the dressers in the house. Walk through with a garbage bag and dump all of the obvious garbage, and PROM the rest of the stuff. (my kids collect gum wrappers. seriously. I’m going to put them in an empty Altoids container I found as a surprise.)
monday, the 137th day of the year

It’s Monday! I’ve got a 4-month-old well-baby check-up (that’s a lot of hyphens) to tackle today, and that’s about it. I’m not going to try to get any work done this afternoon—anything that gets accomplished is a bonus. I’m going to try to quickly recover from our weekend in the early morning hours before the house awakens. I really like the 5′oclock hour where it’s just me, my thoughts, and the coffee pot.
What’s on your agenda today? What do you need to do this week? Write it all down–even the minuscule items.
Today:
PROM the kitchen junk drawer(s)
103–run errands, prepare for summer
103
Good morning to you! It’s time to gear up for summer. For some reason you can’t buy shorts or a swim suit in the middle of summer, you have to now. Everything’s on sale—I like to order online, but if you prefer to go into stores, you should be able to find a good selection.
It looks like the kids are going to pretty much live in Lands End clothing over the summer. I just received a big order the other day.
I love shopping in my jammies.
Today:
efficient erranding (remember the sunscreen!)
finish PROMing everyone’s clothing from winter
schedule 3 more punch list items for the next few weekends
exercise. 27 days until Mother’s Day
yesterday: monday recovery day

82–spring clean bathrooms

Happy Tuesday to you! I got an email from Katrina yesterday which reminded me to remind you to spring clean your bathrooms. Since you’ve been doing the Daily 7 more often than not, your bathrooms are probably in pretty good shape already. Congratulations!
This will be super easy. Wash the bathmats, switch out all the towels, including the “decorative” ones (or wash and put back. even if you don’t use them, they get dusty and grimy). Mop the floor with antibacterial cleanser and make sure there isn’t anything funky growing in the shower. Use a bleach pen, if necessary. While you’re in there, PROM the medicine cabinet and under the sink area.
Start with the hardest bathroom first, then move on to the easy one(s).
yay!
yesterday: day 81, monday, take a day off. sort of.

Happy Friday! Plan some fun for this weekend.
Please take the time today to do a breast self-exam. Breast cancer is the leading cause of cancer deaths in women ages 40 to 45. Breast cancer is most treatable and curable if detected early. One of the best methods of early detection is through monthly breast self-exams. If you need a refresher course on how to perform this important test, please refer to the Susan G. Komen website.
Today:
Weekly Reflection– how is your exercise plan going? how have your interactions been with your family this week? your friends? your coworkers? what, if anything, would you change about this week?
PROM the car. Get rid of the crumpled napkins and straw wrappers!
yesterday: PROMing the china cabinet
