I just wanted to say thanks for all of your tips! I was going crazy because….ahem…my house was a disaster and I had to get it ready to sell. I followed your tips and I have to say…..when realtors came in my house they asked me if I hired someone to do the cleaning. Me! Mrs. Slob! My house was under contract within a week! So thank you so much! I cant wait to start over at a new house and set up a routine so I wont have to do the super bail out I did this time. 3 years of neglect and dust……ew. It was bad!!!! :) U rock!!! :) :) :) :) -Jen

I just wanted to take a moment to personally thank you for your new blog and say that I cannot wait for your book.  I’ll be first in line at the store to get it.  As a recent new mom I have really struggled with keeping balance in my life while still being a great mom.  I started implementing some of your suggestions over the past few days and wow, what a difference.  Just making the bed, and trying to keep the sink clean has given me hope that I can have a nice looking house again while not neglecting my little one in any way. Thank you and keep up the great work.  Finding your crockpot blog almost a year ago has really been life changing!

Cuppa Jo: Seven Can Be a Lucky Number

This is awesome – and just in time! I’m having a dinner party on Saturday night, and I have only tomorrow to clean – but some weekend guests are arriving tomorrow evening, and I also have to shop for food for the party, and, and, and, and ….etc. I was already in the process of a major household reorganization and was feeling bad about doing the “hiding” trick (my soapmaking room is a disaster right now, but nobody needs to go in there)! Fortunately, my kitchen was already pretty well organized, and so was the dining room. But the living room is a semi-disaster . . . *sigh*–Christina

I love that your approaches to cleaning and your ideas are all so realistic. It’s just so REAL, and I love that. Hiding dirty dishes in the garage? I LOVE that! Thank you for these great ideas. –Sera @ Laughing Through The Chaos

I was just diagnosed with adult ADD and keeping house has been one of the most frustrating, tear inducing hardships for me. I wrote this list down and posted it on my fridge. I KNOW I can do these things every day, thanks so much. –Catherine

I love the bathroom wipe down suggestion! I hate the bathrooms because they always turn into such a chore, but this might help save me from that.– Rachel

I love your 7 habits of highly successful mamas! Glad to say I do many of them, but with my one year old try to do the laundry every other day. One thing I don’t do is wipe the bathroom down every day and that makes A LOT of sense. Kudos! And best of luck to you with your new venture, it looks like it will be a great resource, thanks!–Kimba

These tips are awesome! We just completed spring cleaning and these tips will be so helpful to keep our home the way it is right now. Thanks!–Amanda
