Wednesday: day 139

It’s Wednesday! You better hurry up and get the stuff done you were supposed to on Monday and Tuesday..
oh wait. Maybe that’s just me.
I made it to my coffee date yesterday, and it was wonderful. I’m super glad I was able to go. Super glad. Friends are important, and grown up conversation is important.
But. I came home to 116 emails I’ve been ignoring, unfolded laundry, phone calls I needed to return, and a cranky baby who missed her morning nap.
So today is super crunch day for me. How about you? Write it all down, so then you can cross it off. Write down the stuff you’ve already done, too, just so you can cross it off.
it feels good to see the check marks!

I was going to write you a note today to tell you how much I enjoy your book. I have been logging on to the site for months and thought I would not really use the book (and having been doing my own PROMing for awhile, have reduced my cookbooks to a cherished few-yours is the only one I’ve bought in YEARS.) But it was so handy, much better than navigating the site, love the small titles on the outer edges of the pages, and appreciate that you kept the cost down not including the pics. Thank you! I’ve sticky-noted meals for the week!
Now I wanted to add that I love that you went to your coffee date-those times are so important and we constantly make excuses not to do them or then feel guilty when we do-so don’t, and I love that you write things on your list when you already did them so you can cross them off- I do, too-it still counts!
aw, thank you Christal! I had so much fun with that project—it turned into a family endeavor. I’m glad that you find the book just as helpful as the site.

You mean I’m not the only one that does that thing with writing stuff on my list just to cross it off?? Yippee! I also must confess that if I don’t get something done, I just draw a line with a arrow down to tomorrow’s list.
I do that too! it’s not a confession—it’s real life.
xoxo
